This page outlines the regulatory framework, formulation philosophy and compliance measures behind Altyr Rise so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

1. Defence and Aviation Disclaimer

Altyr is an independent Australian company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the Australian Defence Force, the Royal Australian Air Force, or the Commonwealth of Australia.

Any references to military service, aviation experience or high-performance environments are provided solely as background to the founders' personal experiences. All views, opinions and content published on this website are those of the founders alone and do not reflect the views, policies or positions of the Australian Defence Force, the Royal Australian Air Force, the Commonwealth of Australia or any other organisation.

References to Sam Bradeley's experience as a fighter pilot relate solely to his own personal experiences and should not be interpreted as representing the experiences, practices or nutritional habits of other military personnel. Altyr products are developed independently by Altyr and are inspired by Sam's personal experience and interest in performance nutrition. It should not be inferred that the formulation was created, used or endorsed by the Australian Defence Force.

Any defence-related imagery or video appearing on this website or social media has been lawfully licensed from commercial content providers and is used with the appropriate permissions and intellectual property rights. The founders have not captured or used defence-related media for Altyr, including while on duty, on Defence property, or using Defence-owned equipment. 

2. Legal Framework - Food vs Medicine 

Altyr products are formulated and marketed as a Formulated Supplementary Sports Food (FSSF) in accordance with Standard 2.9.4 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

Unlike therapeutic goods regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Altyr Rise is regulated as a food by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) and the relevant Australian food enforcement agencies.

This classification reflects both the nature of the product and the regulatory framework under which it has been developed.

3. Evidence-Based Formulation

Every ingredient in Altyr Rise has been selected for a clear purpose.

Our formulation is based on established nutritional science and developed within the permissions provided by the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

We believe effective products don't require unnecessarily long ingredient lists.

Instead, we focus on combining a smaller number of carefully selected ingredients at meaningful levels to create a balanced formulation designed to support both physical and cognitive performance.
