Professional Sport meets Military Fighter Aviation

Developed through years of experience operating within elite sport, military fighter aviation and high-performance human systems.

Our team consists of an ex-RAAF Fighter Pilot, former Premier League Sports Scientist,  Captain of the Brisbane Roar, tactical strength and conditioning coach, performance dietician and a professional racing driver.

Together, we created Altyr, a performance brand built at the intersection of two worlds that demand more from the human mind and body than almost anything else on earth. We took what we know about sustained performance under pressure, applied it to the science of human physiology, and built something for the everyday Australian who demands more.

Co-founder and Director

Samuel Bradeley

Samuel Bradeley is a former Royal Australian Air Force fighter pilot with over 1,500 fast jet hours and a decade of flying and instructional experience on the F/A-18A, F/A-18F and Hawk-127.

Sam's instructional career spans both ends of the RAAF fast jet pipeline, from the Hawk 127 on the Introductory Fighter Course through to the F/A-18F on the Operational Conversion, where Australia's frontline fighter pilots and weapon system officers are trained.

In an environment where cognitive performance is not optional, Sam developed a deep understanding of what the human mind and body require to operate consistently at the highest level. Fast jet aviation demands split-second decision making, sustained mental clarity under extreme physiological stress, and the ability to perform with precision when the margin for error is zero.

Co-founder and Director

Shane Carr

Shane Carr is a high-performance sports scientist and physiotherapist whose career has taken him to the highest levels of professional sport and military aviation alike.

Shane spent time working within the Tottenham Hotspur football program, one of the most demanding performance environments in world sport, before bringing that expertise to Australian professional football as Sports Scientist and Physiotherapist for the Brisbane Roar. Working at the intersection of elite physical preparation and evidence-based sports medicine, Shane developed a deep understanding of what sustained high performance actually requires from the human body, not in theory, but under the pressure of professional competition.

What makes Shane's background unique is what came next. Appointed to design and run the RAAF's Fighter Fit program, Shane became responsible for the strength and conditioning of Australia's fighter pilots. It was this rare combination, elite professional sport and military aviation that made Shane the ideal co-founder for Altyr.

Senior Brand Advisor & Founding Ambassador

Jay O'Shea

Jay is a professional footballer and the former captain of the Brisbane Roar in the Hyundai A-League. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Jay began his professional career in English football before signing with Birmingham City in 2009 and making his English Premier League debut against Manchester United. As the captain of the Brisbane Roar, Jay O'Shea is one of the most decorated players in A-League history, a role that reflects not just his technical ability but the standard of leadership he brings to professional football every single day.

Jay O'Shea is not just an ambassador for Altyr, he is a founding member of the team. As a current professional athlete operating at the highest level of Australian football, Jay brings something to Altyr that no amount of marketing can manufacture the perspective of someone who lives the performance demands the brand was built around, every single week of the season.

When Sam and Shane were building Altyr, they weren't looking for a face to put on a product. They were looking for someone who understood what genuine performance preparation requires and who would hold the brand to that standard. Jay is that person. His involvement shaped how Altyr thinks about athletic performance, what it means to prepare properly, and what an elite performer actually needs from a supplement. That input is in the product itself, not just on the label.

Performance Dietician

Olivia Fidler

Olivia Fidler is an Accredited Sports Dietitian working in elite sport, and PhD student investigating evidence-based nutrition and hydration strategies in motorsport. Olivia brings a level of scientific rigour to Altyr that is rarely seen in the supplement industry.

Her practical experience matches her academic credentials. Working directly with elite Rugby Union and high-performance motorsport, Olivia has spent years translating clinical nutrition science into feasible, real-world protocols that produce measurable outcomes at the highest levels of professional sport. She understands not just what the research says, but what it means for a human body under genuine physical and cognitive demand. When Sam and Shane approached Olivia to collaborate on Altyr Rise, her first question was simple. Show me the evidence. Every ingredient, every dose, every claim was put through the same rigorous scrutiny she applies to her doctoral research. What emerged from that process was a formula she was confident enough to put her name behind.Olivia played a central role in the design and development of Altyr's scientific framework, reviewing the clinical literature on each ingredient, validating the dosing rationale, and ensuring every element of the formula reflects the current standard of evidence in sports nutrition and general health science.

She continues to guide Altyr's scientific direction as the brand grows and its product range expands. In an industry built on proprietary blends and undisclosed doses, having a performance dietitian with elite sport experience on the founding team isn't a marketing exercise. It's the reason you can trust what's in every serve.

General Manager - Performance Solutions

Daniel McDonald

Dan McDonald is a tactical strength and conditioning coach whose career has been built at the intersection of elite physical preparation and performance science. Working with high-level athletes across professional sport and Australia's tactical population, Dan specialises in the kind of conditioning that matters most. Not just building strength in isolation, but developing the physical and cognitive resilience to perform under tactical pressure, when the game is on the line and fatigue is a factor.

As Altyr's performance coach and Australian operations lead, Dan brings a ground-level understanding of what the body actually demands in elite competitive environments. His approach to performance preparation directly informed how Altyr thinks about physical output, recovery, and the relationship between physical conditioning and mental sharpness.

When a performance brand is built around the demands of military aviation and professional sport, you need someone who has worked inside those environments and understands what real preparation looks like. Dan is that person.

Brand Advisor & Ambassador

Bayley Hall

Bayley Hall is a professional racing driver and one of Australia's most promising young talents in motorsport. The 2025 Australian Porsche Junior Champion and a 2026 Supercheap Auto Supercars Wildcard Driver, Bayley competes for Eggleston Motorsport in the Super2 Series.

Racing at over 200 kilometres an hour demands split-second decisions and total focus under pressure, the same principles Altyr was built around. As a brand advisor and ambassador, Bayley brings a perspective from motorsport, helping guide the development of products designed to support the mind, body, preparation and performance required for the everyday Australian who demands more.
